This is a great little machine. Several of my friends purchased one after watching me use it to stoke up the fire. I got around the problem of the plastic gears by using a little light spray oil.

Bought this as a stocking stuffer/almost joke for my husband, Christmas 2008, because our traditional bellows were pretty well worn out.

He loves it! We have a fire almost nightly for five months a year, and he has used it practically every night until recently. It has performed beautifully. Yeah, it makes a different sound from hand-pumped bellows. But he finds it very effective and at this point I don't think we'll ever go back to the hand-pumped version. Definitely recommend.

The Air Grill Blower does a good job of getting a fire going. I need much less paper/twigs/commercial starters. It also perks up a failing fire nicely. It's small enough to tuck into your vehicle's trunk, but too big for backpacking. Downsides: it blows so much air that it may puff ashes into your face. It doesn't have a freewheel, so you must take you hand off the crank handle or the gears grind, probably shortening its life.

This is so conveniet and efficient -no electric fan and other cardboard waving can do it like this. no puffing to the fire over and over,just rolling it for a few times toward an area between the charcoals and you got the flames.

I am writing to tell you what a fantastic product you have in the AIR GRILL Blower. For years, whether in fireplaces or BBQ grills I have blown on coals and cinders or used bellows to try to reignite lagging fires, all without much success. When I saw an ad for your Blower, I frankly was skeptical, but I gave it a try and I am so glad I did! I have never seen anything like it and it works great!

I had this with me while camping in Alaska. While everyone was huddled in their tents during a rain shower, I was able to start a roaring campfire! Awesome product.

I've used the air grill from everything from grilling on the BBQ at softball games and picnics, to making fires on camping trips and day hikes. It's super light and easy to take along. Why do all the hard work when you can just use the air grill?

I just want to say what a great product this is. We have used it quite a bit since we received it and love the ease of use and how great it blows the fire. We will never use anything else for our fires again. It's light weight, blows fantastic and never lets us down. I ordered some for gifts and everyone says the same thing. What a great fire tool! No more bellows for us!

This product is awesome. It cranks out a very powerful stream of air, yet is still compact and lightweight. Once you have one, you will wonder how you ever stoked your flames without one. A must have.

Kids Q competition, May 2005
The event was very successful, and the Air Grills were a BIG success!
On Friday evening, one of the cooks was trying to get coals started to help with our Kids Q competition--I saw him using a magazine to fan, so I gave him one of  the air grills, and in a matter of seconds, the coals were glowing.  He said it really speeded up the process.  We gave the Air Grills to the 7 kids in competition for their grills--again showing how effective they were.  On Saturday, we gave the Air Grills to all the adult cooking teams.  By then the reputation had preceded them.  It turned out to be great PR for your product!

This product works! I have 3, 1 for my bbq, 1 for camping, and 1 for our fireplace and woodstove for our home. No more huffing and puffing into the fire and passing out, the Air Grill fixed that right away.

Wet wood, not enough kindling wood, this is the tool for the fire starter challenged. Even on my BBQ coals its great. No more nasty taste from lighter fluid with the Air Grill. Neat tool!
